Encircled by some of the most stunningly scenic landscapes in the world, Manali is a major focus for the sport of Skiing. Solang Nallah and Sethan offer a variety of slopes for skiers. Some easy runs are provided for beginners who take the ski course
Venue:
Solang valley: is situated 13 kms north of Manali. It offers one of the best skiing slopes for both the beginners and professionals.
Sethan: is a high altitude village with many slopes of different grades surrounding it. It lies in the east of Manali and about 10 kms from Manali.
Program ( 6 days )

Day 1
Arrive/meet at Manali bus stand and transfer to ski lodge / G.H at Solang Valley/Sethan. Introduction to ski equipment and their using techniques.

Day 2
Walking in ski shoes, walking on soft snow, walking on skis.

Day 3
Side stepping up a slope on skis, balancing on skis.

Day 4
Balancing -snow plough position-fall and recovery techniques.

Day 5
Snow plough position - going down a slope in snow plough position

Day 6
Going down a slope in snow plough position, snow plough turns. End of course. Depart to Manali and board the bus in the evening for your onward destination.
Package Tour Inclusions
Inclusions:
- Lodging & Boarding at Solang/Sethan ski lodge / Guest House on 4 sharing basis.
- Services of a qualified and professional Ski Instructor.
- All Skiing Equipments.
- All Meals.
- Ski Gloves. Feather jackets.
- Transportation, to and from Ski Hut to Manali.
- Basic medical back up.
Exclusions:
- Accommodation in Manali.
- Pre/post arrival/departure, travel cost to and from ski hut to joining and dispersal locations, etc.
- Ski trousers and Ski Jackets.
- Cost of any form of insurance, rescue, evacuation, hospitalization, etc.
- Costs incurred due to delays in arrival/departure of any means of transportation resulting from landslides, floods, Avalanches, heavy snow fall or other natural or man-made causes over which #manutourismcoop has no control.
- Ski lift and gondola Charges.
Note:
- The cost is Ex. Manali.
- Participants will be responsible for their valuables (Smart Phones, Cash, camera etc.)
- Any Activity or service not availed will not be compensated in any manner.
- Participants may have to walk from Manali bus stand to the resort or vice versa in case of heavy snow fall.
