Program ( 7 days )

Day 1
Arrive at Manali and then report at base camp. After checking in debriefing and introduction session. Afternoon head on a short acclimatization walk and then after visit local market for last minute shopping. Overnight in base camp.

Day 2
Post breakfast, drive to Solang, start the trek to Bakar Thatch via Dhundi. After establishing base camp at Bakar thatch, lectures on Surrounding, Equipment handling and mountain terminology. Acclimatization walk to Bhojpatra in the evening. Overnight in camp at Bakar Thatch.

Day 3
After breakfast trek towards snowfield for Snow Craft. Back to Bakar thatch for Lunch. Evening lecture on tent pitching. Overnight in camp at Bakar Thatch.

Day 4
After breakfast trek to Beas Kund Glacier for the training of Basic Ice Climbing Techniques - use of crampons, use of Ice Axe, anchor & belay. Packed lunch will be provided. Reach camp by evening. Overnight in camp at Bakar Thatch.

Day 5
After breakfast trek to Glacier to Practice the ascending and descending techniques, Step cutting, rope fixing. Lunch to be had on glacier. Reach camp by evening. Overnight in camp at Bakar Thatch.

Day 6
After breakfast trek to glacier to learn Glacial Walk, crevasse rescue techniques. Return camp by evening. Learn the survival techniques in the evening. Survival Night. (spending night out in the open)

Day 7
Early Morning Trek to Beas Kund lake and return camp by lunch time. Post lunch proceed to Manali. Reach Manali by evening. Deposit the equipment issued. Relax. Late at night assemble for Gala dinner, experience sharing and certificate distribution. Overnight at base camp.

Day 8
Day at leisure in Manali. The programme ends after the breakfast, check out and transfer to Manali bazaar for strolling on Mall road. evenin board the bus for onward journey.
